The Department of Interior Design organized an industrial visit to Odyssey- Abstractions in stones on 22nd October, 2021. This visit was organised for the students of semester – 01 ,03 & 05 of the Interior design Department.

The visit was organized in two different sessions –total 30 students of Semester-01 & 25 students of Semester-03 & 05 of the Department were present at the visit place. Two faculty members of the Interior Design Department along with the HOD were there with the students during Visit.

The students and faculty members were welcomed by the Director of Odyssey- Abstractions in stones. He explained the various parts of the coarse aggregate manufacturing unit. He also explained the detailed Process of Aggregate Manufacturing at the plant. He further briefed about the safety measures as well as precautions to be followed during the Whole process of Stone Exploration, Mining operation & Manufacturing of Aggregates. He further gave a detailed explanation to the students about the separation process of different types of aggregates. The visit proved to be very much useful for the students for their future field Practice.
