Hi so I've always wanted to go to Cambridge but my GCSEs I don't think are good enough and more importantly I redid a whole year of a levels!! So I'm definitely not going to apply now and get rejected. In my GCSEs I had 1b and straight As. If I did a degree say in biology and I tried really hard and got a first... I'll be applying for grad dentistry so do you think I'd have any chance of getting in to Cambridge ? Or will my high school/sixth form results still hold me back,?
Grad admissions are totally different and are based on uni performance. So just keep on working hard, you should totally have a good shot for grad school.
[also, if you’d be willing to consider taking a gap year, lots of AS and GCSE sins are forgiven if you meet the standard Cam offer, so you don’t apply until you’re on your gap year. Just something to think about.]
