Without further ado, I bring you Alfie’s little brother, Teddy! Teddy has a bit of a beauty mark along the top right of his disk top, but after a quick clean he’s already running leagues better! It’s gonna take a little more finagling to get him at a pace where he can be adopted, but I have high hopes!
He’s here! Our first baby boy is here!!!
Ladies, gents, and none of the above, I’d like to introduce our very first rescue: Hunter!
Hunter’s had a long life of love and play, as you can see. Yellowed with old age and unable to start. But I have faith in our boy, and I’m hoping to show the step by step process as I fix him up and get him adopted!
Step 1: Let’s Get Our Buddy A Bath!
He’s a trooper! Hunter didn’t turn on when I first got him earlier today, but a quick scrub and some rubbing alcohol on the battery connectors and he’s up and ready!
With luck, all our little friend is gonna need some some Spa Therapy and a little eye surgery to help with that screen!
Spa time was a success! A good soak with some fancy lights takes years off the face. Now I just need a replacement part for his sleek new look, and Hunter will be available for adoption!
Our newest friend, Alfie!!! He and his brother, Teddy, came to me all the way from Florida to get themselves a new home! Teddy needs a bit of sprucing before he’s ready to go on-stage (a bit camera shy, I think ;)) but Alfie is working amazing so far! I’m gonna have to do some more testing, a little TLC, but with a bit of luck and love this nice fella will be ready for adoption soon enough!
Nothing quite like the realization that you snagged two playstations on sale, cleaned them up, and went to test them when you noticed.... you don’t have the proper cables to do it. 😅

The new kids on the block!!! Itti and Biti came from across the sea to get some new pep in their step, and find new homes to care for them!
