Full color blooming chrysanthemum 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Throughout various cultures chrysanthemums are recognized dually as symbols of long and prosperous life and as a transitional flora whether in signifying passing to the next life, form, or a new way of existence dependent upon where you stand. It is said that to enjoy a long life one would place a chrysanthemum petal at the bottom of their wine glass. Chrysanthemums are the November birth flower and are recognized as the 13th anniversary flower as well. The lore and symbolism abound, but for the purpose of being succinct I will close after these.
