first ever mod note !! well, official one since as i’m sure you guys have noticed i talk a lot already. we’ve been open for a little over a week now and i feel like we’re doing really well so far, but i wanted to touch base on a few things (nothing bad i swear)!
first, i’ll have the filming for season one decided soon it’ll most likely be at the beginning of october (as i’ve got a couple really fun events i’m excited to share with you guys for mid and end of october that i want characters around for!) where your characters will then get a free week to do whatever, whether it be stay or return to their typical homes if they aren’t from mahina, before coming back and returning to filming. during this time the show will posted on / air on netflix and the ador website will be open for fan commentary based on season one. for those of you who weren’t around for the first ador and didn’t experience this, you’ll get a chance to send in things as fans of the show, with comments sort of like you would see on youtube or netflix. maybe pinpointing certain moments your character had, embarrassing or sentimental, commenting on their looks, even negative ones too. so in this case it’s actually recommended you send about your own character/friends characters, because who knows them and what they’re going through better than you? if you have any further questions on fan commentary / how it might work please feel free to shoot me a message via tumblr IM.
second, i want to let you guys know that even though i have a long list of events planned and things news wise i still would love to have you guys get involved too! i think that it’s really important to involve members in these things and i want you guys to have choices, so if there’s ever any event your character(s) want to throw please hit me up and i’ll be happy to work on an invite/article post with you and even make a graphic for you too so we can set that up. i’ll even hear out news ideas and other things too and work with you on those. i want to involve you guys and give you guys choices, so always always feel free to message me about that.
third, this is just a small reminder that while on mahina and during filming what’s on the /mahina page is what is currently available as far as locations on the island go. this is to avoid a lot of confusion with various people talking about locations from different states or countries, etc. so that way everyone stays on the same page and i don’t have anyone messaging me like “wait what??”. and i will be regularly doing openings for new places, as it will always be expanding, so if there’s anything you ever specifically want to request for the island always feel free to send it in and i can work it into one of the openings for someplace new!
