          ❝  EVE  !  ❞  the  panic  is  clear  in  the teenagers  voice  as  he  finds  himself  flying  through  the  mall  ,  trying  to  catch  up  with  his  flying  toddler.  who  knew  two  year  olds  could  be  so  fast  ?  with  christmas  just  around  the  corner  and  the christmas  decoration  just  about  EVERYWHERE  ,  the  toddler  got  over  excited  and  started  running  towards  god  knows  what.  ❝  oh  my  god  ,  eve  ,  for  the  love  of  god.  ❞  he  mumbles  to  himself  as  he finally  gets  his  daughter  in  his  sight  ,  but  still  out  of  reach.  (  god ,   he  needs  to  stop  smoking  ).

“you knew who my family was when things got serious between us.” jason said with a stiff face and controlled voice. he wasn’t having this argument because there was nothing to discuss. “don’t act like the innocent good girl and pretend you didn’t know anything.” the male turned to the mirror again as he did his tie. always well dressed for whatever he had to do. it hadn’t been easy for him to step up and be the boss of the family, but his father was getting old. when he was younger he didn’t have much to do with that part of the family, but he had to grow up and face his responsibilities.

chris enters the room preemptively reddened. he’s tucked and untucked his overgrown hair behind his ears about a dozen times in preparation for ( loving! ) judgment. hoping, foolishly, that this is to determine whether or not the evening’s look is green lit by jane.

         ‘ the girls have decided to dress me, ’ he says, lowering a pair of upturned palms slowly from his shoulders to his hips. ‘ unfortunately unaware of the effect of horizontal stripes on... ’ he chooses not to finish, but pressed, he’d say, ‘on a wildly chubby individual.’

     “oh wow,” he drawled out and fixed the baseball cap on top of his messy hair. “i can’t thank you enough for letting me stay with you while i’m in town. it means a lot.” hank explains and sets his bags on the ground. because he travels for work all the time sometimes the jobs he gets are sudden causing impromptu traveling. his life was unpredictable, but he loved it. but sometimes it caused him to have limited time to plan. “where do you want me to sleep tonight?”

     Why is it that every time when Roman’s roused in such a forceful way, he’s always nose-deep in one of the most calming dreams of his life? The feeling of something akin to a missed connection is starting to become his morning routine & not only is his mouth drier than the Sahara, his ears seem to be ringing as he comes to. “ ...what the fuck is so important that you can’t let a sleeping man.. sleep. ”

     Rhythmic  tapping composed an impromptu melody on the counter as vacillation consumed him, a hummed note providing reminder that there was an ongoing private dialogue and the seconds that passed him by were not haphazardly squandered; evidently, he didn't seem to be getting anywhere. Another thoughtful sip of coffee was indulged, and an  expelled  breath of capitulation eventually indicated that of a reached verdict. Arrogant to a fault, even he occasionally fell victim to the  allure  and sensible value of a second opinion.

     ❝ You know what? I’m really not all that sure. What kind of pie do most people get here? Or better yet, which one’s  your  favourite? ❞
