Fuery made his way quickly towards the investigations office. It was still early in the morning, but the halls were already bustling. Things had started off fairly routine until Colonel Mustang had called him aside to say that he would be working for Hughes for part of the day. Fuery liked the Hughes, though he did not really know the man personally. 

Shifting his tool case into his other hand, Fuery knocked twice on the partially open door. "Lt. Col. Hughes? Kain Fuery reporting, sir. Colonel Mustang informed me that you had a problem with your phone line and had requested my assistance. Is this a good time, sir?"
