Tension leaves Valdís’ shoulder’s unprompted as she catches sight of Adrian amidst the books of the Library. She had heard of his survival, but at the time she had not been anywhere near the Tower to check. Now that she is back, she is glad to see him. There is something about his posture that shows that he is not quite in one place, but considering the rumors about the Kossith, she had expected as much. At the very least, he is alive, and that is all that matters.
“I was planning to surprise you with my new enrollment at the Tower, you know,” she says mildly as she takes a seat in front of him and finger waves at him. “But all things considered, it isn’t the best idea now.”
