The Past Comes Back To Life
Percy was pretty sure he was counting down the hours until Adrian found out about Leo and hell broke loose. Despite the other Submissive’s assurance that this was a big place and it would take quite a while for them to cross paths Percy knew better. It was like Adrian and Leo were drawn to each other, unable to stay away from each other too long when they were in the same area and when they did, well, things tended to get chaotic and explosive. It had been one of the reasons Percy had fallen to the shadows at the Academy, what with his brother and Leo being the way they were it was hard to get a word in or be too close to Adrian with how much time they took up for each other. It hadn’t been all bad and Percy knew they had cared about each other once, if they hadn’t then they wouldn’t have this anger between them.
He’d been sitting on Adrian’s bed when it happened, reading a comic and eating from a bag of Doritos when he heard the thundering sound of Adrian’s footsteps coming closer. The door opened and while it wasn’t swung or slammed shut it was still obvious the anger behind it as Adrian entered and shut it tightly, even going as far to lock it. The tension in his shoulders was all it took for Percy to know what was wrong, silently thinking to himself how it had taken about six hours for this to happen. Nervously swallowed the Dorito he’d been munching on, he awkwardly put the bag to the side and hesitated for a moment before speaking up. “I....guess you ran into Leo?” He asked, even if he didn’t really need confirmation. “Are you okay?” He asked, unsure how smart of a question that was even if he knew he needed to ask it.
