5 Questions with Ads Graham __________________________ What motivates you? The electric feel music gives me and the belief that music can help progress social change. What most inspiring thing a listener of your music told you? One of the first comments from an online listener was so densely packed with nice words it really knocked me for six. I hadn't anticipated my music invoking such a response from someone. It was amazing to think I could give other people the feelings other musicians have given me. Does a specific state of mind or mood generate your best work? I write most of my music when I’m just jamming out in the kitchen. Sometimes they just fall onto the page there and then. Other times I come away with the basics and edit the lyrics and melody when I go back to it or as I go about my day. I’ve also had to get out of bed at stupid times to jot down a few ideas. I think inspiration generally comes when you’re relaxed and riding off the vibe at hand. What's next for yourself? I’m releasing a remastered version of my first album ‘Entanglement’ soon and am looking to record the next album over winter. I will also be continuing to play shows across the UK but mainly in London where I live. Anything else you'd like to say? Thank you very much for the interview.
