A general several day experiment, and proof that I seriously need to work on non-Games Workshop material. 3D printed, the Clone Troopers here were based upon those from the Dark Horse Comics, and it's a look I genuinely wish was more common within the franchise. 

While I was working with unfamiliar material here, a combination of being rushed for time and a lack of highlighting in an effort to give it a different feel from the usual models I paint hurt this more than I would like. The smaller proportions and components were also a deciding factor in this though, to be completely honest. The colours at least look good and the gloss is fine, and the decision to skip adding colour to the fabric about their greaves was for the best. However, it's one I've now sold on thanks to dissatisfaction.

This Star Wars papercraft is a Advanced Recon Commando Pilot, the paper model was created by Sean Kelly. The scale of the paper model is in 1:35 and 1:50. The Advanced Recon Commando Lieutenant was a part of Muunilinst 10 and piloted the Muunilinst 10 Low Altitude Assault Transport during the Mission to Hypori, where the ARCs were sent to rescue the surviving Jedi Knights.

After reaching Hypori in a gunship, Fordo and his men approached the downed Acclamator I-class assault ship in which the surviving Jedi were hiding, and the captain ordered the pilot to begin jamming the enemy. Making its way past the army of droids that surrounded the assault ship, the gunship dropped remote bombs amongst the enemy, before blasting its way into the Acclamator.

The files inside of the package are in .pdf format and will require a viewer capable of opening and printing them in order for them to be used to their original intent. Pages are laid out to support Letter format, of 8.5” x 11” (21.59 cm x 27.94 cm). While it is possible they may be printed on A4, some reduction in size may be required. Note that to create the models to the stated scale, no resizing through printing should be done.

After debarking they were met with the sight of a wounded Jedi Master, General Ki-Adi-Mundi, dueling General Grievous. Fordo and his men wasted no time in opening fire on the cyborg general, but Grievous was able to evade their shots. The captain reacted by having his gunship pilot blast his way into the area, and open fire on Grievous with the ship’s weapons. While the cyborg fled the site, Fordo’s men recovered the other surviving Jedi: Aayla Secura and Shaak Ti. When the captain ordered his men back on board the gunship, Ki-Adi-Mundi protested, insisting that they pursue Grievous, but Fordo pointed out that the survivors would surely perish if they lingered on Hypori. The general relented, and boarded the craft. As they flew away from the Acclamator, Fordo activated the remote bombs, wiping out a large number of enemy troops and clearing a path for the gunship to escape through.
