Father, I do not know the plans you have for us in 2017.
But I know that you have been faithful every day before.
I do not know how we will pay our taxes, our rent, our bills; I do not know how we will eat or what we will wear.
But I know that we are more precious to you than the flowers of the field or the birds of the air.
Jesus, I do not know if my business will prosper or if my book will succeed.
But I know that you are with me and that you will never forsake me.
I do not know what trials I will face or suffering I may have to endure.
But I know that my suffering helps me know you more and produces a hope that does not disappoint.
Spirit, I do not know what mistakes I will make.
But I know that you will convict, comfort, and guide me.
I do not know if I will even have breath at the end of 2017.
But I know that I will live forever.
