Day 2 of the July @dungeondoodles game - A Pirate Mimic. I went away from the classic to have some fun here. Who mimics a pirate better than a parrot...and what if it's more than it seems? Box Text: As the party walked up the gangplank of the privateer ship they'd been hired to investigate & protect, Bexallia the rogue squeeled in delight! "The captain even has a parrot! Just like in the bard's stories!" "No! No, no, no, no. Just no." Salty, the second mate who had just hired them, chided sternly. "Look away. Pay no mind." As one does when told to not look, the party turned it's eyes to the brightly colored, oddly costumed bird on the Captain's shoulders. The birds head turned slowly to gaze on the newcomers...and the Captain's head turned, almost mechanically, mimicking his pet exactly. "Look away. Don't ask questions. Don't even make eye contact with the First Mate. Lest you get invited to dinner. It's bad luck on those wot gets invited to those dinners." Bexallia squealed - quietly this time - while beaming at the rest of the party.
