Getting in the groove of drawing again
July 15, 2026 - Yellow-Faced Parrotlet (Forpus xanthops) These parrots are found in arid woodland and desert scrub of the upper Rio Marañon valley in Peru. They eat cactus and tree fruit, seeds, flowers, and leaf buds, foraging in flocks. Breeding in colonies of up to 70 birds, they build nests in dirt and rock walls. Females incubate the eggs alone while the males bring them food. They are classified as Vulnerable by the IUCN due to a sharp decline to their population caused by trapping for the cage-bird trade.

Ive made a serious effort to give my bird more veggies. And boy is he angry.
Ody came up to his food bowl, looked inside, then started trying to flip the bowl over. Then he started throwing the peas, but accidentally ate some and really liked it.
