In the event of a culture life; ideas occur - is movement. Direction happens to a people. It is not a fault. It is a quality of existence.
We are shaped by our interactions; internal and external. We are engaged in perpetual negotiation with those things we consume and those things that we project out into the world. Media is the expression of this negotiation. We consume so that we might produce - Not tragically, consumption is so much a program coded into human design; we consume by nature.
It is because we understand this consumption program and because we understand that we are what we (eat) that we are so invested in claiming our stake in the aesthetic culture.
Any aesthetic culture describes a people: the sounds and the reactions to these sounds, the color palette, the direction of a script, the intention of directors and authors - they all play a part in documentation of a people and the contextualization of future-media(s).
We are not interested in the dictating of consumer habits. Consumption is, I reiterate, a program so coded into human design. What Adverb Media is interested in is making the plate as appetizing as possible. -- Re-appropriation of the edibles.
Content making takes on the action of farming. Content makers are farmers. It is our duty to harvest those things around us so that we might (re)contribute to the aesthetic culture; to foster a forward direction, to facilitate the re-appropriation of ideas, to facilitate culture understanding, to facilitate culture-sharing.
The creation of content is important. With the advent of Globalization, It has become the duty of every citizen.
Understand: Globalization is not the detriment of any culture nation. It is in fact the call for persons to be ambassadors to the world they were born into. So we do.
Adverb Media answers that call with a sensibility, love and tentativeness.
I say tentative to mean experimentation. The aesthetic is fluid and moving and bending. Always. The archive IS NOT a stagnant pool into which these ideas are cached but rather an ever moving, fluid and bending mirror direction reaching as far on the reverse axis as the aesthetic moves on the forward axis.
