I want to bite people in a vampire way but Scarecrow Fangs has a whole disclaimer to tell people to not bite others with the fangs. Any good fangs for biting??

I'd choose something soft plastic, because you could bite and it wouldn't hurt as bad as hard plastic.

because hard plastics cuts really easy because it's sharp.

(tho please only play bite people don't go taking chunks out of their skin. or drawing blood without the consent of the other party.)

theres this stuff which you can mold onto your teeth and it makes fangs, and you can take them on and off.

theres also like these ones which just like pop on, they are like dentures, and theres a couple more types.

I'm not super knowledgable, but I'd say the denture putty stuff? idk what it's called, you can stick it on your teeth and mold it into the shape you want then take them off.

or I'd browse cosplay forums and ask! they'd know more than me, I'll keep an eye out for anything that fits for you tho.

Ah alright! I've had a Pearl in my home for a while now! do you know what Mumbo and Grian's like though? I'd like to get the habitats ready as soon as possible!

Thank you for reaching out again! I'm glad you're putting this much thought into taking care of your hermits.

As avians Grian's usually prefer nests and high up places with plenty of things to perch on! Make sure to also have a large space for yours to build as that'll be one of his main pastimes! Somewhere against a wall is preferable as he will most likely not finish the back and will get distressed if anyone looks at the uncompleted side.

I'd recommend a cave style habitat for a Mumbo, one with nature decorating the outside and plenty of room indoors for redstone tinkering. As a rule Mumbo's are far less picky with the look of their habitats than the more building focused Grian's, but there has been an uptick in reports of them experimenting more with it. Just pay attention to his moods and you should be right as rain!

Hey uh, i've been having a bit of an issue, recently i had a Grian and Mumbo wandering in my backyard and they haven't left, should i bring them inside?

Hello there anon!

It seems you've got some feral hermits in your backyard, but not to worry! If they haven't left then that's a pretty good indicator they want to stick around!

Despite what the title of "feral" suggests they'll actually be rather friendly if you can get them to trust you, and them sticking around your backyard is a pretty good indicator that you're at least partially there!

Make sure to get the proper habitats before trying to introduce them into your home as they won't hesitate to flee if something isn't up to their standards.

I'd also recommend getting one of their natural companion species, a Scar is the best choice but an Impulse or Pearl will also go a long way towards easing them into a new home.

For the anon worried about their smash bros themed hoard, I've had a metal gear themed collection - including dressups - for over 3 years now and I've never had an issue with any mods about it - I even had one of the General Helpers compliment me on it! - so as long as you don't do anything stupid like cover your pets in red dye or name them cuss words or anything you should be okay.

Also, if you still need to find a pet for Snake, I will humbly suggest the August 2018 cat litter. :3

For the anon suggesting bigot-scaring tips, I remember a closed species on Deviantart(?) that made anyone who wanted to join put their username in a TOS that basically said "I don't support [bigotry], and I respect that the creator of this species is a [idk exactly but I think they were some variety of LGBTQ+?], if I'm caught being bigoted, even in non-species spaces, I understand that I will be banned from the species.". That seemed to work really well! I'd suggest something along those lines if anyone needs to drive bigots away from their species/lineart/bases/whatever (also if anyone remembers the name of what species I'm talking about, please say so, I loved their lines but this was like 6 years ago at this point)

Bigot scaring tips for closed species. Some are more subtle than others. Add whatever you want.

Have a unique gender system for your species, or no biological sex. Transphobes hate when their girl Kanimalon doesn’t have a fully lore-dependent pussy.

Pride events. Self explanatory. If your species proudly supports something, people who don’t support it stay away.

Demon/Satan themed... anything. If Lil Nas X has shown us anything, it’s this. Hardcore xtians tend to be the most anti-gay/anti-trans and demon themed sparkledogs repel them like nothing else.

“X are not welcome here” statements. Obviously these aren’t super effective, but they do make bigots feel less proud of their opinions in certain spaces.

No gender dependence in breedings. Let two boy dogs have a baby. Bigots hate when two boy dogs have a baby.

If your species is based on a species with sexual dimorphism, open up that trait to all sexes. Want to make a lion species that breathes fire and has cobras for tails? Let the girls have manes. I promise you’re not going to sacrifice realism here.

If your species has visible flesh, let that flesh be dark. I know this sounds weird but it works. You would not BELIEVE how many racists get pissed off when they see a drawing of Sonic the Hedgehog with dark skin.

Allow adopts to change gender at will. Self explanatory. Trans sparkledogs.

You know something that people underestimate way too often? Extremely rare low demand pets. If you're patient enough you can get quite a bit for them. The biggest overpays I've ever gotten came from hard to get low demand pets

friendly reminder that before you sell your animal eggs for the 5-10 c$ people are offering on the swap threads, the older eggs can fetch 3 tokens each which is a solid 6-9c$ (tokens sell for 2c$, 3c$ if you find the right buyer) and newer eggs can fetch 5-6 tokens which is 10-18c$. the newest egg though (black parrot) can fetch 10+ tokens which is already 20c$ minimum! take advantage of desperation!!!
