No mother should have to teach her child, based on the color of his skin, how to behave around anyone. No individual should have to sacrifice their right to equal treatment in order to keep the peace. Why is the ideal of equality slipping through our hands?
I wholeheartedly agree to not let any form of discrimination dictate my actions. I will pass no judgment on any individual based on their race, sex, sexual orientation, profession, religion, or nationality. I will stand up for my right in a peaceful and educated manner. I understand and believe that violence towards any group or individual is wrong.
