Thinking about how AE making this Tumblr timeline branch was basically him subconsciously trying to reclaim a part of the childhood he lost by orchestrating events that lead to a version of him that doesn't play the game and still gets to have a found family and meaningful relationships.
Did he accidentally traumatize Eln in his efforts to give him a better life? Absolutely (timeline B is a good indicator of that). But the positive intent was there, and Eln still turned out relatively ok(so far).
