I actually finished a thing today! I’ve been tying to find things to draw that I can finish in a sitting so that I can’t put them off “for later”.
An unconventional mermaid for MerMay hosted by @artists-everyday. Today is actually my Axolotl’s Home Day, so I drew her! Kinda!

Holiday Themed Day 2 from @artists-everyday ‘s MerMay event!
A big long post of all my mermaids from the first 7 days of @artists-everyday‘s MerMay challenge. In order there is: plant, holiday (halloween), slime, monster, exoskeleton, palette A, and monochromatic.

Finally can upload Mermay days 3-5!
Day 3: Slime. This poor species lives in swamps. Their skin is made of a substance that aids them when traveling through the dense waters of the swamps, but when out of water they begin to drip heavily and seem to melt.
Day 4: Monster. This species is not a mermaid at all. They are actually a carnivorous fish that have adapted to resemble a mermaid. In olden times, many would lure sailors out into water before revealing their face. Their jaw can extend out to be about half the size of it’s head to eat large prey.
Day 5: Exoskeleton. This species has armour-like plates on the back of it’s limbs. Combined with a sturdy shell resembling a rock, they can successfully repel or hide from any greedy fisherman. They tend to be very docile.
