Linhardt knows he shouldn’t shake at the sight of blood anymore, after all he had survived the war, though he sometimes wonder if it was worth it. To live through a waking nightmare everyday since he was 16, and now to be suddenly thrown back into it after a moment of peace felt like this whole second chance was nothing more than a cruel joke. As he walked through the bodies of his fallen comrades, seemingly having manifested all at once in this house he swore more than once he saw his former classmates, his best friends, more than once amongst the bodies even though he knew that they were still alive and in this city. Then he sees Ferdinand walking around bleeding profusely and he nearly screams. “What are you doing?” He inquires as he closes the gap between them. “You-You need to sit down,” as he speaks he reaches towards Ferdinand’s wounds, hands shaking worse and and worse as they get closer to Ferdinand’s body. “I... sit down, I can fix this.”
