what a darling!!! it might be a bit expensive in the future though, because what makes their ears fold, affects their joints when they get older i think. but all scottish folds have variable degrees of painful degenerative joint disease :(

That’s really scary and sad to know... but at least it won’t take me by surprise now. Sadly I don’t know about the kitten’s parents [since it apparently affects the degree whether both parents had those types of ears or not], but I hope it’ll happen later in life and to a manageable degree. I don’t want him to suffer...

Hello! [update]

Sorry I’ve been very quiet on tumblr!

I’m still not really used to having more social media accounts to attend to, and I’ve been neglecting them all..! Also I’ve been putting most of my attention working on commissions! I’m waiting until they’re all finished to post in a single photo-set. [There’s a few nsfw commissions that’ll go to my nsfw twitter account]

GOOD NEWS regarding the tablet!!!

I contacted Huion and on the 12th they were able to get back to me, they seemed to recognize the problem coming from the pen, they sent me a replacement and, I’ve only used it for a few minutes but so far it’s working like normal! No more problems!

So I’ll most likely open regular commissions in March! [lineart, flat colors, painting, wing it!, etc]

Update

Hey guys, I thought I’d leave an update about today!!

I couldn’t get much done today either, although I hope to finish at least one more commission before the day ends!

I’m sorry, I still think I’ll have all commissions finished before the end of the year but I think I’ll be pretty slow in general.

I went to the vet today for my doggy Rita and they finished the two blood tests [One when we first visited, the second after her 2 day treatment before taking her home], and ultrasound. She has chronic kidney disease/failure? It seems like it is very advanced too. While she was at the vet, the high levels didn’t decrease which they say means they don’t expect she will have much time left.

I’ll have to keep a close eye on her, try to make her as comfortable as possible, make sure to give her yummy soft food so that she eats something, and give her the medicine they recommended. And.. yeah, just keep a close eye on her these days.

I’ll try and work while she’s asleep in these next days, but today I’m feeling very tired and emotionally drained. I think after one commission I’ll try my best to relax and hopefully sleep early.

I’m sorry I was a bit slow to reply this time! [I still have 2 emails to reply to!]

I had to leave a bit unexpectedly today and it took quite some time.

[I had to take my doggy Rita to the vet and they had to run some tests, we decided to stay there while they got the results and well, right now she’s staying overnight so they can monitor her and see if some numbers from the tests improve tomorrow. She’s an older doggy and those results seem to be that her age is starting to show.]

Because of this I might be a little slow to start tomorrow, but I think I can have all commissions finished before the end of the year!

Once again thank you so much! I’m so happy you wanted to commission me and I’ll do my best to make each piece really nice! I saw already a lot of the characters and they’ll be tons of fun, I can already tell!
