the idea behind this project is to take a few of someone's favorite characters and combine them into one action figure.

characters used: batman, the black power ranger, avatar aang, daria, foxxy love, the little mermaid.

something sweet i'm working on.

a quick mini-challenge for myself:

make a simple sphere look like a ball of ice using specular and normal maps.

i used photoshop, maya, and (very little) mudbox.

i find it reads more like a water droplet, but had i used a cube i think it would read more 'ice'.

we were instructed to make a low polygon model look like a high detail model using the occlusion map.

i used maya and photoshop.
