take five & think. // patroclus, amphitrite, iris
One minute sleeping in one of the tents in the field ( in the midst of war ), the next he opens his eyes in a — bedroom ? And a not familiar one at that, the walls and the bed decorated in a strange way that’s truly confusing, nothing like the few bedroom’s he’d been in before. It doesn’t take long for him to realize that there’s company too, and a few minutes of searching around gifts them with a pack of cards, which seem like the best way to pass time in a locked room. The PANIC sets in only for a couple of minutes, though the fact that no impending danger is upon them eases the tension — he has grown a knack for these things and the room feels s e r e n e , in contrast to the wind that’s blowing outside, the inside feels safer — so are the people he’s surrounded with.
The cards get boring after a while and he throws one on the bed with a small sigh, resting his head on his hand a moment before the sudden noise of the window makes him jump in surprise. “That doesn’t seem the way out —” He comments unhelpfully, though the slight feeling of r e s t l e s s n e s s begins to raise in his chest. “Do you guys think we should try to find a way out ? It seems too much like a play of the gods, if you ask me — though I’m not sure how we’re supposed to proceed. I doubt breaking the door will help.” ( @amphitriteisms )
