I posted a bunch of dark elf mafia art on my bluesky, including the full version of this! and some other art I cannot post on tumblr!

the full version of this one in particular is fun because I had to combine multiple references and my knowledge of clothes construction, because fun fact! no one has ever taken a photo of fall-front breeches with the fall open from this angle (that i could find)

anyway, Veredi and Aelrak have a totally ordinary master-servant relationship. Where they both fuck the same women. And then each other's daughters with those women. This is not an emotionally complex relationship. This is a normal makeout that doesn't have any baggage.

before i got manic i was working on this nice portrait of the boys. i'm still working on the background but i saved the figures on their own because complicated illustrations get too big for procreate if i keep all the layers i want but i don't WANT to flatten all my layers!!!

presumably the fancy portrait with his steward makes more sense to the other nobles when veredi actually marries aelrak and they're like ohhhh, guess we should have seen that coming. they all thought it was because aelrak is integral to veredi's entire business plan.
