Imagine loving Aemond and when you find out he loves another you leave the castle.
Y'all ready for some angst?
The day you were told that you were to be married to the second prince you were ecstatic. You loved him ever since you were children.
You were there when he lost his eye at the hand of his nephew and when he claimed the mighty Vhaegar.
You didn't stop loving him when his face was mutilated, at first you told yourself it's your duty as his sister to love and accept your brother, but you knew that duty meant nothing to you.
For example, you couldn't find it in yourself to love Aegon, father and grandfather.
Things changed as you got older, you saw the way your brothers were trained to fight, so you begged your mother to allow you to train to,God it took a lot of convincing.
You mostly wanted this because you got to spend more time with your older brother, not Aegon, by the gods.
Unexpectedly you got very good at it, while sparing you even got Aegon a few times on his ass.
You loved reading and sharing stories on what you read with Aemond.
The two of you were very close, it was clear you were each other's favorite.
You loved him in many ways than one, he only loved you as his sister, of course you were to blind to see.
Years passed and your affection grew for him. You developed in a beautiful woman that many men, sometimes women, laid eyes upon.
You were your mother's pride. Your grandfather wished to marry you off to whoever he saw fit.
Many suitors were knocking at your door.
God how you hated it, in your mind and heart only one filled it's place, that one beeing Aemond. From the young boy you grew up with he became a handsome man.
The news of your m8ther deciding to marry you to Aemond made you feel like flying above the sky with no need of a dragon.
Unfortunately, he grew apart of you with years, he considered that now that he has a dragon he doesn't need anyone's company anymore, which hurt you so much, yet your feelings never faded.
When your father died, and Aegon inherited the throne things started to go down.
A peace treat with Rhaenyra failed, which probably would lead to war.
Aemond was sent to Storm's end to talk to Boris Baratheon while You, Aegon and Haelena remained here with your family.
It all crashed down once the news Lucerys, your nephew, was killed by Aemond and his dragon.
That meant war and you knew it, your mother knew it.
Before things started getting violent your mother Married you with Aemond.
In your eyes it was wonderful, but you were disappointed when your beloved brother didn't share the same excitement as you did.
When night came, he refused to bed you. You didn't understand why, at first you considered that you were to repulsing to be approached by him in an intimate way.
You confronted him about it, he said he will do his duty but not now, risking to leave you with child in a time like this would endanger you.
As time went on, the war began getting more dangerous, you wanted to leave and fight for your brother and your mother but she wouldn't allow it.
Aemond fought to take back Harrenhal from Daemin targaryen in which he succeed, yet he had not returned for a unusual long time.
When he came back he was very often away.
You argued with him on this matter yet he used the war as an excuse.
At one point you got a letter from someone telling you that Aemond was in Harrenhal that time, and all the other ones when he was away.
You didn't know what he hid from you, but you started becoming suspicious of his antics .
You knew what you were doing was petty, but you sent a spy to Harrenhal when he was once again gone.
It didn't take long to find out he was seeing another, you were angry, betrayed and disappointed.
The taught that your husband could be cheating never ocured to you.
It became worse when you received information that the woman was pregnant. Soon enough you knew her name. Alys Rivers.
You were furious. When he came back, you gave him the cold shoulder.
The two of you couldn't even hold a conversation due to your ignorance towards him.
One day he decided to confront you, having enough of the cold feeling unfamiliar to him, you used to be sweet and loving, especially towards him.
-what is this behavior you trow upon me?-
Aemond barged in your room one rainy morning.
You scoffed in return. He has the audacity to betray you than question your behavior?
-explain yourself, I've done nothing wrong, husband.-
Your once happy cheerful voice now replaced by a cold tone worthy of him.
-You act like we're strangers, even if we share a marriage, wife.-
Each word he spoke made you more willing to yell at him, shout, cry and slap him, but you kept yourself.
You got up from the chair you were sitting on and put your book down.
-You say that as if you don't ignore me and treat me coldly each passing day since we've become husband and wife, Aemond.-
Oh you had a feeling this will go down...
-Than what made you change your behavior, it didn't look like you minded it before. -
Aemond moved closer to you, he took one of your hands in his.
He worries he hurt his little sister somehow, Aemond doesn't know how he actually wronged.
-Hope, Aemond... I hoped you would love me and treat me like I'm your wife. I hope I would have a child with you and see you as a father, I hoped I would have you for myself ever since I was a child, I hoped.-
Your hand let go of his as you turned your back around. You were so close to bursting out crying in that moment.
-Loving you was a torture I endured for a long time.-
You continued.
He gently turned you around, caresing your face.
-My dear wife, I never wanted to break your heart. I never even thought about hurting you or crushing your hopes.-
His hand rested on your check gently, caresing the skin.
-I gave you the freedom you deserve, I didn't want to consumate our marriage because you deserve doing it with someone you truly love.-
You chuckled, even if you were so close to spilling tears.
With one final pat on the shoulder you left the room.
-You're so blind, have you've never noticed? I have loved you since I was a child.. I dreamed of living my life with you... But it seemed I was equally as blind, but in another way ,only now I see.-
You pulled away from his warm touch.
You wiped your tear, having him see you weak was your last wish.
-I love you Aemond, but you're not mine.-
Once you turned around you saw he was visibly shocked.
-You know.-
You nodded your head.
-For a long while, I hope she and your child make you happy, brother.-
You left Aemond in the room, he knew he disappointed you.
Once you got in your room, you knew you couldn't bare stay here anymore... How long until he brings his mistress here?
So you thought of a plan. You could go live in the warm countries, like Essos, Dorne or even in the famous city Bravos. No one would expect this from you.
But you also know there is war in westeros. So your choice has been made, you're gonna fight like a warrior, but they would never accept a woman.
You did quick work to cut your hair off, shorter than Aegons.
In your wardrobe, you found some masculine clothes, the ones you used for riding your dragon or sparing with ser Criston.
Once the middle of the night struck you left your chambers and soon enough, the castle.
You felt bad for not saying goodbye to your dear mother and sister, but if she knew what you were up to she would have you locked in your room.
.
.
.
It passed on year since you left.
You fought with bravery and killed a lot of soldiers of Rhaenyra, yet your time is up.
On the battlefield, you got stabed in the side by Daemon Targaryen. The two of you fought, but your uncle won.
You smile,
-I never expected it would be me to kill you child.-
His hand caresed your cheek as your life was slowly fading.
-Me neither, uncle, but I'm glad I died on the battle field rather than in my own bed.-
You coughed a bit of blood, the sky now more interesting than ever.
-You were my favorite out of your family, only if you didn't meddle in adult business, child... but you must know a thing, it's all because of your idiot of a brother.-
-I'm going as a warrior, not a coward, that's enough of a victory for me, uncle.-
With one last final breath, the stranger took you.
Daemon Targaryen took you body of the battle field, he was planing on sending it to Alicent and Aegon.
He truly had affection for you. As a child, each time he visited viserys you clinged to him. Gods you were a sweet child.
He hated he had to be the one to end your life, but he also noticed how you mostly embraced death rather than run from it.
