Manifest 2012 Report
A bit late, but I was so pooped from working over the weekend, haha.
Warning, this is super long.
This year I was only able to go for like, 2 hours, because I had to go to work that night. I ended up borrowing my friends pass while he went to lunch, haha. I wandered the Traders Hall for those 2 hours. To be honest I was a bit disappointed by the turn out, some amazing artists like ry-spirit didn't go! Oh well. I pretty much went with $140 to spend, all to spend on prints, but I only ended up spending maybe $30 or so, haha. Partly because the people selling prints sold them for so cheap and partly because there wasn't much to my taste, not very much Adventure Time, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Avengers etc etc.. oh well. Guess it was the Melbourne ANIME Festival after all. :P However, just wanted to say that the location of putting the traders in a bigger hall was a good idea. :) Anyway, here is my haul! I brought a poster tube with me to prevent anything from getting crushed, oh ho ho.
Below is stuff I bought from chobble who definitely had my favourite table this year. Full of super cute stuff, wish I had bought more stuff, haha. She's so talented!!! Also, her prints were top quality, the Totoro print was laminated or sth.. man, that'll keep for ages. ^_^
Below is some stuff I bought from aeonpants, they were $1 each!! Man, such a ridiculously cheap price. @_@
A Princess Luna postcard from Dawn Allies. I love the paper for this one too, haha. Princess Luna just looks so awesome here, I love the design.
A Chibiterasu print from scarlet-songstress. So adorable. ^_^
And lastly this Korra print! I have no idea who drew it though (anyone know..??). It looks soo amazing! I'm not too happy with how Season 1 of Korra panned out but I couldn't resist buying this print. ;)
Anyway, I reckon I'll go to Supanova next year, haha. ^_^
