@babeejeon replied to your post Hi Hi hons! i pretty well-rested now...
I am glad you finished your finals, I hope you will get great scores 💜 and we would love a photo of cross-stitching
I'm happy they're finally finished, too! Thank you for wishing me luck! (I badly need them 😫🙏🍀)
Since you want some pictures, here are they!
Basically, I just follow a pattern and stitch my threads across each other (looking like an "x"). It's like following a How To Draw tutorial but instead of drawing a picture, it's like you're stitching the picture.
What I'm working on is supposed to be like this in the end:
Right now, I'm on this portion:
It was my mom who started this hobby. She started cross-stitching when she was preggy of me (and she also cross-stitched when she was preggy of my bro dhjsjsj). I later picked up the hobby in 6th grade. From them on, me and my mom have managed to finished 2 pieces (1 is amateur level and the other is a big ass kit like what we're working on rn). Actually, It's been 8 years since we last did this. I encouraged my mom during quarantine to go back to cross-stitching so she could do something fun for herself; a stress-reliever from work. Turns out, this will also be my reliever from uni works (and even writing) AHAHAHAAHAHHA I cross-stitch when I encounter writing blocks or when my eyes just hurt from looking into my laptop for long hours.
That's all and thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
