I had debated growing some outside this year, then decided to commit some more resources to the basement farm. Glad I did, the control of environment is so crucial if one want to manage a crop, beyond simply it growing as I need this medicinal production as well. We had some rain after some cooler weather. It's warmed up again since yesterday including a warm night. Today I noticed this mildew just on one branch. I have an AACT brewing as of two days ago so the foliar will be applied tomorrow morning. Hopefully all is well until the seeds form, which on the volunteer are already very large calyxes, so we had viable pollen. 🙌. Powdery mildew can be devastating to plants this time of year. The weather is just right for it, growing in the Netherlands makes for a real challenge when not under protected culture as the mould and Mildew are rampant there due to cold rainy fall seasons. I have a feeling our fall here will be similar this year. Just guessing but it feels that way.
