Pop on a lil' newgrass courtesy of Mr. Hartford, whose Aereo-Plain album provides the perfect soundtrack to these long, languid summer afternoons.

You may recognize dear ol' John from his renditions of Man Of Constant Sorrow and Indian War Whoop on the O Brother Where Art Thou OST, but do not stop there. He's got dozens of albums out there that are all worth a spin.
