Ramblings Of A Priest (Journal Entry)
To this day, I find it quite frustrating how many that walk in the path of Belore are viewed. Not all of us are perfect pictures of happiness, nor are all of us brimming with dark secrets. My past is nothing to laugh about, don't get me wrong, but I am but one of countless; a single face in a vast sea of others. Regardless, it is equally amusing when I am met with surprised expressions when I do not speak as many other priests might. I will not apologize for not wanting to heal every little scrape or injury. Some pain could do some of these arrogant brats good. It is as if they expect me to bend a knee and worship the air they breathe just because they are an "important person." Pardon, but I could not care less that you are a Blood Knight captain or general, nor do I care if you fought in every blooming war that surfaced thus far in Azeroth. If you do not treat me with respect, do not expect me to treat you any better.
And do not assume that just because I wear simpler attire befitting a priest that I do not know how to wield a weapon. It will be a dire mistake.
I will laugh when the time comes that I say all of this and then some to another being in person rather than simply ranting to myself on paper.
