Aerial Diffusion Depth cue. Particles in the air obscure background causing a loss of detail, texture. Thus areas that are less detailed, desaturated appear farther away. Need a comparison for this cue to work. For example, if everything in the frame is affected by aerial diffusion the space would become flat.
