MERILAI

Mirage
Dancer and entertainer.
Merilai loves to learn and smile, but the time they’ve spent as Commander has left them jaded. Nevertheless, he still tries his best to be the best he can be and be a positive impact on the world around him, despite his initial anxiety. When he isn’t commanding, they can be seen dancing, or reading a heavy stack of books.

Nightmare Courtier.
Finnlain is extremely gullible and curious, which ultimately led to her joining the Court. He has a very difficult time with his emotions, conflicted by the Court and their ideals, especially when he falls into the Nightmare.

Scrapper/Holosmith
Friend of Iron Legion.
Elechaer was awakened without one of his legs, though that’s never stopped him from roaming around Charr lands, fascinated by their technology. He often keeps to himself, but will ramble for days and days about a rifle he designed if he’s asked.

Deadeye/Specter
Former Asura experiment.
Dreinal almost always keeps to itself, often traveling with a Skritt companion, Ch’Tiq. He’s very jumpy and anxious, and his intimidating features can scare others away, but he does want to make friends with others- he just doesn’t know how to.

Vindicator
Soldier from the Mist Wars.
Kieronel dreamed of honor and glory inside of the Mist War, so that’s precisely where he went. Inside, he met his best friend, Tokuma, and they fought together. Unfortunately, Kieronel perished, and went to the Mists- pleading to be brought back to save Tokuma- unfortunately being brought back much too late, Tokuma had died as well. Despite all, Kieronel tries to keep a smile on his face and look at the bright side of things. He has his buddy in his head, after all.

Knight for the Nightmare Court.
Cillaidan fell into Nightmare early on in his life, and rose to become a Knight. Despite this, he often hears Ventari’s voice, no matter how hard he tries to drown it out. He’s kept it a secret for so long, but has only now begun to doubt himself. He isn’t sure what to do, or where to go.

Krytan history teacher.
Wyrienn is mostly known for his unusual job- a teacher for humans as a sylvari. Perhaps even stranger is his other job: ghost-whisperer. When not teaching, or reading, it’s not unusual to find him lurking around graveyards, calming unruly spirits and ghosts, chatting with them, or simply offering the tombs trinkets.

Shadow of a cowboy.
Daitanhi only shows his face to his closest friends. His past is... Elusive, and he doesn’t tend to talk about it to anyone, really. Little, if anything, about them is known, only the fact they enjoy making poisons, and aren’t fond of small talk.

Aspiring scholar.
Ciansin has an extremely strong sense of justice, and hates seeing elites step on those they deem “lesser”. He wants to go into law, but for now, he’s a simple student in the Priory. He has a fascination with humans and their systems, which has been a huge inspiration for him.

Assassin for the Order of Whispers.
Everthol is very subtle in his ways, acting as a distinguished gentleman almost all of the time. His reputation is solid, and why wouldn’t it be? He’s cozied up to nobles and ministers, all for the good of the Order, unbeknownst to the high class fools he’s spent so much time with.

Agent for the Order of Whispers.
Hailleach, unlike Everthol, is quite brazen with his attitude. He’s proud and stern, though extremely passive-aggressive at times. Despite this, however, he takes his duties very seriously. He knows how to get information, and he does it with any means necessary.

Specialist in advanced technology.
Aerinach has been tinkering with machines since they awakened, easily getting attached to the asura and their technology. They don’t talk much, to anyone, though it’s assumed they’re just often deep in thought.

Untamed
Sylvari turned Mordrem.
Conyvld’s first memory was hearing Mordremoth. Everything beyond that escapes him. He’s big, brutal, fierce... An excellent hunter. However, no matter how dangerous he is, he has a soft spot for the animal friends he made in the jungle- a large Mordrem alpha following after him, protecting him. As long as Mordremoth pounds in his skull, he’s relentless.

Branded sylvari.
Niavei used to be a simple man, curious of the world and itching to learn more and more about it... But, his own naivety got the better of him, and he became Branded. Fortunately, he’s mostly the same- impulsive, cheerful, and eager to learn. Unfortunately, his impulsivity has dialed up to a new extreme, and finds it harder to keep himself calm, his anger being the worst to keep in check.

Simple wanderer.
Lusarim was awakened without his eyes, and thus needs his seeing eye dog, Spike, to accompany him anywhere he goes. He prefers to go their own way in life, though is very friendly and likes to help others where he can.

Of the Soundless.
Gwivryn is very stuck-up and hot-headed, oftentimes chiding those who simply look at him wrong. Unfortunately, he attacked one of his fellow Soundless when Mordremoth called, and is now in hiding... It’s unknown where he resides now.
