Upped our mega tourist game by hitting up the most touristy Ireland spot in all the land. Climbed some stairs, Spider-Man style made out with a wall, high fived a leprechaun. #aernortigan #blarneyrubble #vindicated (at Blarney Castle and Gardens) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9FXUZklFsZ/?igshid=1spr0j030lil9
I’m assuming this is the Irish Catholic equivalent of Hogwarts. Complete with the tiniest neo-gothic chapel. They are currently building a new state of the art monastery next door. If I did my job correctly, you are now also picturing nuns in hard hats. #aernortigan (at Kylemore Abbey) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9C5TnvA170/?igshid=10y10j0ucy101
Aasleagh Falls. Plenty of water this time of year. 95% of you couldn’t guess that it’s pronounced “Ashley”. It’s also located right next to “Marykate Falls”. #aernortigan #everywhereyoulook #cutitout (at Aasleagh Falls) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9C4ivlgyGv/?igshid=q4z666en31nd
Took a drive through the Doolough Valley and pulled over to take some pictures near this monument to the Famine Walk. Glad we brought snacks! #aernortigan (at Doo Lough (Mayo)) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9CpTbkArCI/?igshid=yhxwqfcpmwiw
Completed the mandatory pilgrimage to the O’Malley homestead. #aernortigan (at Doughmakeon) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9CoI5pAzfz/?igshid=1g1n7930ijag9
So it’s been storming like every 3 hours here then completely clearing. Snow covered the top of Croagh Patrick overnight our first evening here. But it was too overcast to snap a pic yesterday. This morning is nice and sunny, then rain, then more hail, and now it’s lovely again. Spoiler alert: probably more hail later. And I thought New England was bad! #aernortigan (at Bertra Beach Mayo) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9B0EgCFNAd/?igshid=16ttrlqyy81f9
Oh and this one. “Croagh Patrick”? More like “Woah Patrick”! #aernortigan (at Bertra Beach Mayo) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9AUlwRlcFe/?igshid=1p5g202ctdf9w
