3. First book that had a major influence on youProbably Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Before reading the HP series I hadn’t been a huge reader and it really got me interested in reading a lot more, especially in the fantasy genre.

Tell one book story or memory (what you were wearing when you were reading something, someone saw you cry in public, you threw a book across the room and broke a window, etc.)Ha, I’ve probably thrown a book before out of sheer frustration, but one particular story that I remember is that the night before a wedding for one of my cousins the 5th Harry Potter book had been released and I took that baby to the wedding with me. So I was in a fancy dress when I started it. I started carrying it around and calling it my precious, being able to still read in the car for long periods of time.

29. Favorite female protagonistJo March from Little Women. I admire her so much and she serves as a major influence for how I want to live my life. (So I haven’t actually read Little Women yet, but I’m familiar with her character through movies and musicals).

39. Favorite villainLestat? Does he count as a villain? If not, then Count Olaf from A Series of Unfortunate Events. He’s the one guy you never want to see in any of the books yet he’s ALWAYS there. He always finds a way to get to the Baudelaires.

No but I wish! That'd be a fun story to tell my friends back home or kids/grandkids for my "wild-days" in college.

36:Where I would like to live: In all honesty, I like where I live right now! I like the landscape and how cities aren't really that huge, but big enough for you to be able to have plenty of options at hand. I don't know if I'd want to live anywhere else, but I'm not in the position to be definite, especially since I've never left my country!

akitla tagged me to name 5 random facts about my self

1. I wanted to get an industrial piercing but the lady at the place said that I don't have to right ear structure to get it done. Apparently there is a part where my cartilage sticks out too much =(

2. I've been told that I have an eclectic taste in music. Currently I like listening to k-pop. I recommend listening to 2NE1. They focus mostly on a hiphop/RnB sound but they infuse with rock, reggae and EDM. They are awesome.

3.I have O negative blood. I am a universal donor. And I implore everyone to donate blood at least once in their life. Who knows, you could save a life.

4. I have an abit of an addictive personality... by that I mean that I always have to have something that I really obsess over. I will spend all of my waking time reading and researching about it. When the obsession runs out I start having an existential crisis. So then I try and find something else to obsess over. Now I think it's a vicious cycle of the same thing over and over again.

5. I am an atheist. I grew up as a Catholic but naturally became agnostic during my teens. I started watching videos on youtube with Neil Degrasse Tyson, Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins, and Bill Nye. This kind of catapulted me into eventually being an athiest. However I have no problems with people that have religion. Most of my friends are religious, and they believe in different things, Catholisim, Greek Orthodox, Baptist, Islam etc. And I actually admire the sense of community that religion can bring. I also like the hymns, and was part of my school choir that sang at Mass at school (Even when I was agnostic and leaning more towards atheist.) I also still celebrate Christmas as I see it more as a cultural thing, as all of my friends and family celebrate it and exchange cards, gifts and have Christmas Dinner. 

Wow - I hope this wasn't too boring to read. I wanted to add something about being spiritual as opposed to religious, but I'll leave that for another day.

11) Do you have any strange phobias?

I used to be afraid of heights, but I grew out of it. My other isn't so much a fear, but I can't help poor reactions to the sight of lots of blood.
