You are my wolf. You came into my life when I was nothing more than a chameleon trying my best to blend into a world that didn’t want the real me. You gave me a voice. You taught me how to roar. How to be fierce. How to lead instead of follow. And I am so incredibly thankful for all that you are. for all that you do. 

i love you for listening to me babble. I love you for pulling me into your lap and holding me tight. I love you for arguing with me. for compromising with me. for forgiving me. I love you when we cook together and I run around after you cleaning the (way too many) dishes that you use. I love you as you scrub the bird poo off the balcony for the millionth time. I love your determination. your commitment. your passion. 

I love you. All of you. Every beat and bit of you. Thank for helping me become who I am today.

Life with you is pretty darn amazing. My week is so monotonous and dull and then you come along and bring with you all the colours in the world. And life gets a whole lot brighter.

I can't wait for that to be my everyday. To wake up and find all the colours of the world in your eyes and to experience nothing but warmth in your arms.

Dear future husband,

I can't wait to come home to you every single day. To fall asleep and wake up next to you. To call you home. To call you mine. To spend our days grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning together. To find joy in the monotonous tasks of everyday life.

And in that instant I realised how easy it can be for two souls to part ways for the rest of their lives. To walk away from each other. Because we came so close. And it put it all in perspective. That what we have isn’t permanent. Isn’t unbreakable. Isn’t set in stone.

We can’t take anything for granted. Each moment. Each touch. Each kiss. We still need to work on us. Each and everyday. Each and every moment. For the rest of our lives. Because it only takes an instant to lose someone. Because it only takes an instant for someone to be broken and hurt beyond repair.
