Did you know that the Azure Hawker (Aeshna caerulea) is a dragonfly native to northern Europe?
Their azure marks glisten when basking in the sun, as they are wont to do.
The abdominal eyespots on males will often change from blue to purple depending on the weather and as temperatures decrease.
