psps pwet. if one wanted to get into pokémon. how and where would u recommend as a good starting point. asking for a friend
(infelizmente eu n assisti o anime qnd criança 😔 sim, eu sei, desgracei a nossa geração todinha)
oh shit ok hope you don't mind but this will be a little long LMAO
ok so first: anime? games? i'll assume games but if you wanna get into the anime i have a totally legal liscened website i watch the anime in YEP. as well as a list of the episodes so if you'd like that i'll dm u it
ANYWAY GAMES. so the thing with pokémon games (mainline anyway) is they're pretty much the same formula over and over? so it's hard to recommend just one over the others as "more beginner friendly" because once you figure out one of them you know how to play any, but here's some recs anyway
pokémon let's go pikachu or eevee on the switch was made as like. "baby's first pokemon game". its pretty easy from what i hear, but it's also the one that strays from the formula the most since catching is different. a lot of people say it's great for beginners but idk i never played them
if you want a more traditional first pick i think the easiest is x and y. pretty standard pokémon experience it's what you'd expect. plus mega evolution is dope
now if you want one of the 2D games to start with i'd recommend black and white. also they have sequels! black and white 2 make it so yk it's like a combo, and in my humble opinion, the best pokémon games ever
my favourite game (TOTALLY not biased) is platinum though. if you wanna play gen IV go for platinum. but gen IV can be a little frustrating with all those HMs.. so idk might be best to be already used to things before going there lmao
oh and if you wanna talk about spinoffs there's lots of those but the mystery dungeon games are my favourites 👍
