The school day had FINALLY came to a close and the children were just waiting to be picked up. Happily giggling when they saw their guardian pull up.

One child was waiting for a bit, but not too long. She hugged a tablet close to her chest as well as an adorable dragon toy. She soon saw the familiar car that belonged to Seto Kiba, her father-figure. She chirped and stood, trotting up to it expecting to see one of Seto's guards inside and no one else really.

Resting on the comfortable bench on the deck, she looked out into the city. It was a bit of a long day for her at work and it felt good to be back in this large building of Kaiba Corporation. Even though she hates heights, Ruthie didn’t mind the view from so high tonight. Her ears flicked and shifted to the breeze that passes by as she yawns a bit.

Her ears tilted to the sound of footsteps that she recognizes as she kept looking out, knowing who it was. She didn’t expect him to say anything, knowing that silence sounded better for the both of them. But to her surprise, he started petting her head which she didn’t expect and was a bit confused as to why he was doing so.

“???”

It was best to keep quiet, so she didn’t say anything but smile a bit. Ruthie curls her tail around as she relaxes under the feeling of being petted on the head. It honestly felt relaxing after a long day at work at the hospital. She always wanted to stay quiet about it, knowing Seto himself has long days as well. Plus she didn’t want to bother him with anything about her. Liking the silence with the slight noises from the city, it caused her to relax some more to where she started to purr softly and slowly fall asleep. Not really know why it was causing her to start falling asleep but guess it couldn’t be helped.

“Thank ya.”

She said softly to him before completely falling asleep, not having any worries or thoughts of stress in mind.
