NOPE YOU KNOW WHAT FUCK THE RULES.
So! While the vast majority of the gaming community would probably be quick to dedicate heated tirades to one company in particular, the Assassin’s Credo continues to fascinate me because it is, simply put, relatively true. It is interesting to see how easily even well-rounded characters like Edward or Altair have demonstrated how dire the consequences can be if this particular quotation is misinterpreted and perverted into something that it’s not. I’m very passionate about this, okay? (And, yes, I do know where it’s originally from. I think? I’ll double check…) ANYWAY:

Hermann Hesse, and basically the entirety of Demian

I.
Awake but asunder,

pouring pride down the drain,
for all their virtue is in vain
III.
They scream: this is not a dream
So they baptize their laws,
for it is The Judgement,
with ravenous claws
And still they scream: this is not a dream
No sinner’s sun shall ever beam anew.

idk man it's hard to put in words but you make people feel wanted and safe and inspire them to be kind and see the world the same way you do, the little things that make it all worth it and the details people would miss if you didn't point them out.
