“Uh, you used to be one of them?” “Are you a Tengu Warrior?”
Hold on, hold on, hold on. If there were any doubts about the twins being humans, this ends now. I mean, Kazuha says he hears the geo, anemo and stars near the Traveller, but it could be like, their original power from their original world, who knows?, but what actually are the Twins if they have been/are shooting stars?
I had this headcanon, and now this is basically cannon?
Also:
In Japanese mythology, tengu are a kind of supernatural deity (youkai or Shinto god). In Buddhism, the Tengu were destructive demons of war but can take on a protective role.
This actually fits the Twins, both, the Abyss and the Traveller. The Abyss Prince or Princess are the final boss, or it seems to be close enough of reallly poerrful enemy against Tayvat, and rules over the Abyss Mages(Demons?), ploting a war against Tayvat and Celestia itself.
The Traveller is the one solving Tayvat’s poblems during the journey. What makes him or her a kind of protector.
In the end, both seems to be deities. (Thet were in Celestia and they had wings, and they were fighing a god, please. Humans dont have wings, neither are welcome to turism in Celestia), and supernatural. Different. Being capable of using more than one element at once? without a vision, or a delusion? They are exceptions, as Ei said.
Anyway, Inazuma 2.1 is incredible. The story is amazing.
