AF!Sans Fanon Story

It is said that when a bird feels stressed or depressed (etc) they will pluck their own feathers, this usually use as a coping mechanism similar to humans. But feather plucking can be painful for birds, especially if they are pulling out feathers down to the skin or damaging the follicles.

But after a while their feathers will grow back to its usual healthy and colorful freather as long as the bird doesn't pluck it out again. In AF!Sans case it would also grow back but with a different shade of blue, a darker one. Everytime he shed his feathers, it will grow back with a more darker color of his feathers and will keep getting darker the more it get plucked and grow

AF!Sans real name used to be A Failure since he didn't get his father creator's ability to grant wishes and that make him a failed experiment in Buni's eyes. Buni doesn't care about his own family nor his children he was doing it all for the sake of experimentation, and said experimentation includes making a living being with bones and codes.

AF!Sans hated his own name, he didn't even want to have a name either. He was very upset about it, he just wants to show that he is not a failure for Buni. So AF!Sans worked hard, studying, learning, training every single day, pushing himself off to his limit. All for the sake of attention, hoping that his father creator would pay attention to him again.

It was all for nothing, Buni created another child after him and this time it inherited the ability. The child was young, naive, innocent, curious and oblivious to his surrounding. AF!Sans doesn't know what to feel about that that, he knows he should be angry or even upset that he was being replaced with someone else but he can't. AF!Sans feels empty, hollow even, but he can feel it. Inside of him, he could feel and hear his soul cracking slowly. A wave of numbness hit him and he just couldn't express himself anymore.

His first meeting with the child was not something he was expecting. The child is polite and trusting, he keeps clinging into him and for some reason starts calling him "brother". Although the child's speech was not fully developed yet, AF!Sans could teach him more about that.

The child give him an entirely new meaning for his name, Alis Flare. Alis means Wings and Flare is Fire. It is a great name, better than his old one. He appreciated it, he was greatful Buni created him, he is a wonderful child.
