I realised that when I made the Sans x Musician Reader I put some for Underfell sans to, so I feel like it’d be a crime if I didn’t make some Dating Headcanons for him!

Underfell Sans Dating Headcanons

• He falls for you gradually

He fights the feeling the entire time because he believes attachment equals weakness and that getting close only leads to pain or loss. Your consistent kindness and care towards him slowly wears down his defences even when he tries pushing you away. So he eventually gives into your advances and gives you a chance.

• Trust doesn’t come easily or quickly for him

He expects you to leave him or betray him like others have, so every time you stay and prove he’s safe with you, it shifts something fundamental in how he sees you.

• He struggles with jealousy and possessiveness

He scowls and steps closer when someone gets to comfy with you, but he never directs his anger towards you. Only the people that don’t understand your the most important thing to him.

• He fully commits to you

Once he brings himself to fully commit and get around his fears, his loyalty towards you is absolute and unshakeable. He would stand against ANYONE, even those he once followed, if they threatened you or your happiness.

• He is brutally honest with you

He isn’t the type to sugarcoat things, even though he loves you, he hates people who lie to make others feel better. Believing the truth SHOULD be told if needed. He believes trust is built on truth and he would rather hurt you with honesty than deceive you with kindness.

• Very Physical affection always happens in private

The most he’ll do in public is hold hands or hug. But anything softer is reserved for private moments where nobody else can see, because being seen as vulnerable makes him feel weak and exposed.

• He flinches the first few times you make contact with him

He’s used to contact normally meaning pain or conflict, but after a moment and few seconds, he slowly brings himself to lean into your touch and his whole body relaxes in a way that it never does around anyone else.

• Terrible at comforting you verbally

He does not have much experience with kindness or softness, but he will sit right beside you, stay close, and make it clear he isn’t going anywhere until you feel better. He tries his best to make his presence comfortable with you.

• Always watching out for your physical comfort

Adjusting something so you are more relaxed, keeping you warm, clearing a path for you. Most times he does it automatically without thinking because to him your wellbeing comes before his own.

• He keeps his softer side completely hidden

Around others he’s as he always is, cold, aggressive and unapproachable, and only when you are completely alone he does let his guard down enough to show you how much he really cares.

BONUS!!

• He pays close attention to what scares and upsets you

He memorises those things into him to avoid putting you in those situations, if anything does happen he’ll quietly steer you away or handle it himself before it can affect you.
