Doodled Cleto Baccic Willy Wonka :)
Some day I’ll make a post showing pictures of my Charlie and the Chocolate Factory book, the illustrations by Cláudia Scatamacchia are really cool, my favorites are the chapter illustration for the chocolate room and the big page illustration of the inventing room
Edit: finally did it :)
The line “in Brazil they gave up coffee for a taste of Wonka toffee” is so funny to me
First of all, BRAZIL MENTIONED
Second of all, that must be some darn good toffee, i sure wouldn’t give up coffee that easily (Brazilians are not a monolith, ymmv)
And third of all, why would anyone need to give up coffee for toffee?
What even is toffee anyways? The kind of toffee i know is the Arcor candy Butter Toffees (i like the choco-mint ones best, but the milk ones are pretty good too)
I just find it funny lol
