Afghan girl
In this Steve McCurry’s image, the Afghan girl was a refugee. The intensity of her eyes were reiforced by the combination of colours and shapes. Her light greenish eyes were framed by the scarf wrapped around her face. Also, green the garnish patches underneath her scarf communicates very well with the same color of the wall. What’s more, red and green colors which are complementary and skin tone all works together to bring out the intensity in her eyes. In this scenario, reduced down to a minimal the color elements play an important role.
