A Fairly Good Fairy Life AU! Alternative universe where Martin, Chris, and the crew are fairies. They learn about different animals while also avoiding getting catched by the villains.

-They're nomadic fairies. They travel from here to there so they don't have a home of their own. -Martin has narcolepsy. -They can change size, ranging from 2 to 12 in in height. -They can feed on both solid food and light (like a solar panel). Light increases magical levels while food increases physical resistance. -They can "talk" to animals. They don't hear actual words, rather it's like understanding body language and things like that (just like in the series). -Chris and Martin are more nomadic than the team and more than once they have gone years without seeing each other. -Fairies are immortal as long as they feed constantly, otherwise they die (like a hummingbird D:). -They have healing magic and can make plants grow (with this they can grow fruits, eat, recover energy, grow fruits, eat; endless cycle). -Their anatomy is interesting. They have a rib cage, spine and skull made of bone, but their extremities are made of cartilage. -This should make them weak and unable to lift objects but… well… magic. -The in-universe reason is that all fairies use telekinesis but they don't consider it as a power or something special, for them it is as common as breathing is for us. -They have poor vision in the dark. -They can fly in the rain. -Depending on the fairy's diet, the wings change color and ability. Mostly light diets grant speed and agility, while solid diets grant endurance and strength. A good fairy knows how to have a balanced diet -In this universe, fairies are not a secret, which is why villains will try to catch them given the opportunity. -To humans, the fairies sound like sparkles and bells unless they learn how to speak a human language. Which is, hard, for some reason. Some theorize that this is due to a lack of vocal cords. -There are communities of fairies. Cities and groups with their laws and classes, but these are rather isolated cases. -For a fairy, getting close to a human is a shot in the dark. It can become an ally or the fairy can end up dead, with intermediate points of becoming a pet, locked away, stealing from the human, causing them to go crazy, or even killing them. -A fairy is capable of killing a human if it wants to. However, this costs a lot of energy, so it is not the best option. -Unless they go in a group. In that case, run. -Some fairies can develop extra abilities. -Many fairies learn to make potions derived from poisonous plants (to which they are immune). -They can also eat these plants and become poisonous (not recommended, they can poison other fairies and animals) -All of these are defense mechanisms, fairies are actually peaceful. They just want to live their happy lives in nature.

HADAS!

El nacimiento de un hada no es algo que pase de inmediato. Toma tiempo. Nacen del deseo más fuerte de un niño, su mayor anhelo o ilusión. Pero, repito, no pasa de una. Imaginemos que a los 7 años un niño dice que cuando sea grande quiere ser veterinario. Este niño tambien ve documentales de animales y tiene una mascota que quiere mucho. En este caso, su deseo seria cuidar de los animales. Conforme pase el tiempo el deseo se irá alimentando y crecerá poco a poco.

Es como una esfera de luz que crece dentro y cuando llega al tamaño ideal saldrá del niño mientras duerme y flotará lejos hasta llegar a una zona natural (un bosque, un parque, etc). En este lugar la esferita de luz se enterrará bajo tierra y al llegar la mañana saldrá un hada :D

nota: las hadas NO saben de qué humano vienen; no tienen una conexión especial ni nada por el estilo.

Al nacer, lo único que saben es su propósito, la razón de su creación. Siguiendo con el ejemplo, el propósito de esta hada seria "cuidar animales" así que a eso se dedicaría por el resto de su vida. Hay casos muy raros donde dos humanos comparten un mismo deseo y de ellos nacen hadas con exactamente el mismo propósito. Este el caso de Martin y Chris, nacidos del deseo de dos gemelos de conocer cada criatura que habita en la tierra.

Ahora, ¿qué pasa si el deseo del niño no tiene mucha fuerza? Simple, la esfera de luz tardará más tiempo en crecer pero seguirá ahí. Siempre nacerá 1 hada de cada humano, así tenga que esperar hasta la adultez.

¿Y que pasa si el deseo cambia? Pues cambia. Me explico, si el niño tiene un deseo y por situaciones de la vida pasa por algo fuerte o impactante, el deseo cambia.

Imaginemos que los padres del niño que quería ser veterinario empiezan a maltratarlo. El pobre niño sentirá miedo y ahora en vez de ser veterinario, lo que más querrá es escapar de ese abuso. Lo desea con tanta fuerza que la luz en su interior termina de crecer, se entierra y nace el hada. De aqui es de donde salen las hadas más nómadas. Huir huir huir es todo lo que pueden sentir. No pueden estar quietas, tienen que seguir en movimiento. Es algo triste, pero es necesario, pues cuando el deseo deja al humano, éste olvida la profundidad de sus sentimientos. Sienten calma y un poco de resolución una vez nace el hada.

(en el caso de que el deseo del niño fuera deshacerse de sus padres para detener el maltrato, el hada saldría con ese propósito, con odio hacia los humanos. Este es el tipo de hada conocida por hacer trucos y daño a los humanos)
