After the final battle, when we go to talk to Rolan we ask him why he doesn't stay to rule the empire. Especially in this unstable period
He says, essentially, that it is no longer his duty, that the empire will continue anyway and that: “no one in this world can be an eternal king.”
Now, what the little fox says is a clear parallel with King Thoran.
I know his lore through affinity tales and from what they say he is the cause of the fall of the Bantus empire (because he was a trusting ruler) and that he wants to restore him to his glory. Essentially he doesn't want to let it go,he does not accept the end of his time.
I'm curious to see the parallel between these two Kings.
