my reaction when I redownloaded the game the same day season 6 came out (not knowing it), being spawned in the Homestad (I stopped playing before the start of the first season) and reading about characters we've already met (I only knew Cassadee)
now I'm catching up on the whole story and I'm finishing âthorns of devotionâ. đ
I already play âtower of memoryâ, not asking myself too many questions,then when I finished it (before the epilogue) I started the other stories.

I personally have zero hype. But I'll take a look to get to know them better before the event starts. So I can appreciate it better.
They are nice, but I won't spend too many gems on them. Maybe for the dinosaur that I find very cute.

The mythical equipment of mages and warriors are quite interesting.
I don't know how canon these objects are.
But next season I want to know this Quaedam or at least hear them mentioned in some stories.
And Annih? I know that in AFK Arena he is the god of death and Dura's brother. But in AFK Journey this thing was rewritten. Now he is a Hypogean full of negative emotions and that I can't wait to meet (sorry Merlin).I like the design of his weapons.
In all this it makes me laugh that they found "the eye of the Hypogean", at random, in a lightbearer market. No one noticed the evil aura of the object, they thought it was obsidian.đ

I want to see Merlin let it all out or cry.
I want a long speech in which they talks about how they feels, the emotions they feels. Whether it's one of our friends or someone we know on an adventure.
The anger,the pain,the grief, that guilt of not having done enough to save someone.
Everyone has a limit, even if Merlin is not mortal or a god, they still feel emotions. I don't mean for them to lose control, I want them to let go of all that weight that comes from keeping everything inside themselves. And I would expect that later in the story.
In this short time, since they woke up, they has already seen many bad things.

Honestly, I really like Kulu's skin, but I've never pulled her and I don't like her character enough to buy her skin with real money.
Thoughts From Starter Story.
Solitaries
I completely forgot that the Solitaries were mentioned. I figured they were new in CoA, but I went back and found it here.
It seems like Vala figured it out quickly. But I was stunned to be reminded that it was mentioned so early on and Valenâs involvement with them.
2. Orion
Well, he wasnât outrightly mentioned. I figured, yet again, that he was just newly mentioned for CoAâbut I found a brief mention as âcrown princeâ in SS.
3. Merlinâs disappearance
I like continuity and having my facts straight. So, I found the first mentions of Merlinâs disappearance (other than Dolly). The exact number of yearsâ20.
4. Merlinâs personality as a mentor
It is unique to me to know so much about the protagonist we play as. In Tower of Memory, we know how playful, sweet, and cheeky Merlin was as a student. And then, how thoughtful, instructive, and kind as a teacher in the Lyceum (and as Merlin).
But here, we see this flip.
Merlin is stern as a mentorâa private teacherâto his apprentice, Mirael. I feel as though we and many others in AFKJâcough, cough CYRANâundermine the integrity and reverence Merlin has for magic.
Merlin has a strong moral and philosophical commitment to magic that we can see throughout the story. He treats it as something that demands discipline, responsibility, and respectânot merely as a tool or source of power. My point is that his serious, principled relationship with magic is sometimes overshadowed by peopleâs focus on his gentler, playful, or more approachable qualities.
5. Aurelian
Again, not outrightly mentioned.
Rowan was just mentioning it to describe his marriage. But why was that phrase highlighted? And isnât this phrase familiar?
We see this phrase again in Tower of Memory with Aurelian. Thatâs his personal catchphrase we all know him by. Obviously, based off Tower of Memory, Rowan knew Aurelian in the Starter Story way before we were introduced to him. Iâm just curious if they highlighted it for its importance to Rowan or hinting to Aurelian somehow.
6. Three Years Ago (before Merlinâs awakening)
Why does everything happen three years ago? Take a look at the Starter Story, then Crown of Ashes.
WHATâS UP WITH THE THREE YEARS, HUH? Is there some plot line with the Adamant Syndicate or the Hastings family here that we have yet to see or something? Just food for thought.
Hopefully Iâm not going overboard with any of these. But these were my thoughts as I went by.

Voracia is a great skip for me, her character design is nice but from a lore point of view she didn't convey anything to me. I mainly pull if I liked the character in the story. Otherwise for its character design. Maybe in the future I'll pull her.
Cyran's skin will be paid?. I donât know, but It has the color purple and all free or in-game currency skins are purple.đ
I'm very curious about Alna's starry tale. Her character design is among my favorites
