          Grey irises scan over the redheaded male in scrutiny.  He recognizes the tall tell signatures of a lesser god, and knows this man isn’t human, but, unlike some of his brethren,  he isn’t one to place judgment.  No, Raphael is an angel of Healing;  mercy is the gift he behests upon mankind, guiding them through their hours of upmost need.  But this isn’t an answered prayer, nor is it a call for help. It was something else entirely.  A chance meeting that has him taking a seat, quietly searching for words to break the silence.

            “Fucking shit, Sweeney!” Astrid snaps as the glass she’d been setting back on the shelf falls to the ground and shatters. A frustrated huff shakes her shoulders. She’s as volatile as he is, so one would think she’d be a bit more understanding, but she’s not. She whips around and slams her hand down on the bar with murder in her gaze and little sympathy towards, or care for, whatever he’s yelling about. “Don’t fucking yell when I’m doing shit, or the next glass that breaks is going to be breaking on your thick fucking skull, is that clear?”

          Brows raise as she looks over at him incredulously. She was a bit embarrassed that a sneeze had startled her so much, but to be fair - it was very loud. Still, yelling at him was probably an over-reaction. Not that she was going to admit that.  “That was a sneeze? I thought you screamed.”

Jaw left stinging from the swift jab administered, John tastes his own blood that trickles from the cut opened up by the redheaded man’s punch. Tasting its savoury taint, he flashes the other  a wicked grin, shuffling slightly to stand opposite Sweeney more.  “ I struck a nerve, eh, Irish? Good.” His whole act tended to be purposefully irritating-- for ever the opportunistic grifter, angry and annoyed  rubes tended to make for easier pickpocket targets.       “Here, might as well ‘ave another; what sort of Leprechaun loses track of his own bastard gold?!”
