First Day in Mount Kilimanjaro. Vegetation here is Montane rain forest, you cross it in the first day and last day of the climb. It has abundant plants with colourful blooming flowers , birds with beautiful sounds and animals species lots of monkeys, antelopes, wild pigs, mongoose, mouses, animals found in this zone are shy and some of them are nocturnal - active during the night, and it is green with a heavy canopy cover.
