genuinely it baffles me how funk rap disco afrobeat etc isnt much more popular. i mean okay rap is pretty damn popular but not on here and more importantly i mean like funky music in general and such. music which is funky as a destination. a passion. funky music is so so important to me. like it feels different from other nonfunky music. if a song gets this inherent groove into your body thats just magical. thats powerful. its this Utility to it that i love. like it jumps off the page at you. do you understand me. do u get it. james brown was right
